Apricot Prunus Armeniaca

A deciduous fruit tree that has its origins in Eastern Asia . This fruit tree blooms earlier than other fruit trees subjecting them to damage by late frosts. Fruit is high in Potassium, Iron Vitamin A, and Niacin. Apricots can be used for canning, drying, or eating fresh. The tree can exhibit drought tolerance once established. It is important, though, to give the trees adequate moisture in the late summer to fall when next year's buds are forming. Most apricots are clingstone unless noted.
