Acacia baileyana BAILEY ACACIA
Bailey Acacia is a medium size tree that can tolerate a wide range of climates, from coastal to low desert. This is an evergreen tree can reach 20-30' high with an equal spread. Grey-green leaves are compound pinnate giving them a soft texture and appearance. Numerous sulphur colored flowers appear each spring. Near the coast this tree can become drought tolerant, but in other areas should be given supplemental moisture.

Acacia latifolia ( longifolia ) SYDNEY GOLDEN WATTLE
This is a tough tree that can be grown from the coast to the desert. It is an evergreen acacia that grows near heights of 15-20' and has an equal spread. Leaves measure 2-6 inches long and radiate out from the stem. Flowers are bright yellow in color and appear among the leaves in late winter to early spring. This tree is resistant to oak root fungus.

Acacia stenophylla SHOESTRING ACACIA
Graceful weeping habit along, with the colorful yellow flowers in the spring makes this tree an interesting choice for a landscape. This evergreen tree reaches 30' high with a 20' spread. Leaves are pale green in color, measure up to 16 inches long and are very narrow. Bark on trunk has a slight red hue to it. Tree can exhibit drought tolerance once established.

Acacia smallii SWEET ACACIA
This wispy, airy tree is very beautiful and does well in tough desert conditions. A deciduous tree by nature, this Acacia can reach 20-30' high and spreads to near 20'. Leaves are bi-pinnate and filter sunlight rather than completely blocking it. Fragrant, yellow, puff-ball flowers cover the tree in the spring. This tree is native to the desert southwest and does exceptionally well there.
