Elaeocarpus decipiens JAPANESE BLUEBERRY TREE
The leaves, flowers and fruit of this tree make it an ideal choice as a street or lawn tree. This evergreen tree can reach 40' high with an equal spread. Leaves measure 2-3 inches long, are rust colored when new, then turn glossy green at maturity. Flowers appear in 2-4 inch long clusters, are white in color and give way to half inch blue fruits in fall. Tree is considerably cold hardy. USDA: 8-11 Sunset: 8, 9, 14-24
