The Bronze Loquat is a good choice when a smaller tree is desired for your landscape. This tree is evergreen by nature and generally reaches 20' high with an spread similar in size. Leaves measure 6-10 inches in length and are bronze in colored when new turning green with maturity. Bronze Loquat has white flowers that appear in the spring. Eriobotrya deflexa 'Coppertone' COPPERTONE LOQUAT
This selection of Loquat makes a desirable hedge, screen or espalier. The size of this Loquat usually nears 8' high with an equal spread. It has leaf characteristics similar to species, but the flowers are pink instead of white. Coppertone Loquat matures to a more compact from which makes it a suitable courtyard specimen. Eriobotrya japonica FRUITING LOQUAT
Fruiting Loquat is a great ornamental tree that also produces edible, sweet fruit. This evergreen small tree reaches 30' high with a 25' spread. Leaves measure 8-12 inches long, and are green on top with bronze-colored fuzz on the bottom. Flowers are white, appear in fall and are followed by orange 1 inch fruit. Fruit can be eaten fresh or used for canning. Tree can exhibit drought tolerance once established. USDA: 7-11 Sunset: 5-31
