Feijoa
Feijoa sellowiana ( Acca sellowiana) PINEAPPLE GUAVA
A handsome specimen that produces beautiful flowers and fruit. This is an evergreen large shrub or small tree that normally reaches 20' high with an equal spread. Leaves are oval, measure 2-3 inches long, are glossy green on top and have a light silver cast on the bottom. White and red edible flowers bloom in spring and are followed by fruits that mature during the winter. Fruit is 2-3 inches long, light gray in color and has a sweet "pineapple" taste to it.
