Juglans californica hindsii CALIFORNIA BLACK WALNUT
A sprawling, stately specimen that produces a fine structure. This tree is deciduous by nature and can reach 40-60' high with an equal spread. 8 to 12 inch long pinnate leaves are lost in the fall and followed by edible walnuts. This tree is resistant to oak root fungus. Tree is native to northern California and requires little water once established. California Black Walnut is a great tree for tree houses.
