Leptospermum laevigatum AUSTRALIAN TEA TREE
Sprawling limbs and shredding bark give this tree an interesting character. This evergreen tree generally reaches 25' high with an equal spread, but can grow larger. Brown colored trunk twists with age shredding the bark. Trunks may also lay flat and grow along the ground. White flowers cover tree in springtime. Tree is native to coastal exposures in Australia making it a great choice for seaside gardens. USDA: 7-10 Sunset: 14-24
