A broad canopy shade tree that can exhibit drought tolerance once established. This deciduous tree reaches near 35' high when mature and has an equal spread. Leaves are 1-2 feet long and are divided into fine leaflets. Lilac colored flowers appear in spring and are followed by poisonous fruit in the summer.
