Pistacia chinensis CHINESE PISTACHE
The showy display of foliage in the fall make this tree great for any garden. This deciduous tree grows to heights of 40-50' high and has an equal spread. Pinnate leaves measure 18 inches long and turn a brilliant red color in the fall. Tree is resistant to oak root fungus. This tree is one of the only trees that will produce red fall color in the desert. USDA: 6-9 Sunset: 4-24, 26, 28-33

Pistacia texana TEXAS PISTACHE
This tree is a tough Texan native that works well in poor soils. A normally evergreen tree, the Texas Pistache can reach 25' high with a spread of 20'. Compound leaves measure 8-12" long with tiny1/2" leaflets. Tree can exhibit drought tolerance once established. USDA: 6-9 Sunset: 29-31, 33
