One of the most pest and disease free trees of them all. This is an evergreen tree that reaches a maximum height of 60' with a spread of 20'. Leaves measure 2-4 inches long and are very narrow. Podocarpus henkelii LONG-LEAFED YELLOWWOOD
The soft, drooping foliage of this tree makes it a popular choice. A slow growing evergreen tree the Long-Leaved Yellowwood can reach 40' high with a spread about half that. Leaves measure 5-7 inches long, are dark green in color and hang down giving the tree a weeping appearance. Leaves on mature trees are smaller, about 1-2 inches. This is a very versatile tree that can take on multiple forms from shrub to large tree, to espalier. Yew Pine is an evergreen tree that can reach 40' high with a spread of 15'.
